Partnering with the Phoenix CenterThe Phoenix Center relies on the generosity of corporations, local businesses, foundations and private individuals to supplement its wide range of programs and services for its students and their families with disabilities. While The Phoenix Center receives public support from the school districts that place students at the Center, it must supplement the tuition these school districts provide due to the increasing costs of special education programs and budget constraints of sending school districts. In addition, there is a need for funding for special programs and services and required capital improvements for which tuition may not be applied.
Through the Friends at the Phoenix Center Foundation, Inc., the fundraising arm of the school, the Phoenix Center is able to provide the cutting-edge programs and individualized attention that make the Phoenix Center so special. Ways to GiveANNUAL FUNDThroughout the year, through the Annual Fund, the Friends at the Phoenix Center Foundation, Inc. raises funds for the Phoenix Center. Parents, friends, members of the community and staff provide ongoing financial support for the programs and services at the Phoenix Center. Your annual gift provides the Phoenix Center with an income that can be used for special services, equipment and projects for our special needs program.
